OCTOBER MEETING 2016

The meeting was held outside in pavilion, it was a beautiful cool evening. 18 members  were in attendance.

NEW BUSINESS

HAUNTED HAY RIDE IS OCTOBER 21 & 22  7:00 PM LAST VICTIM WAGON  IS AT 10:30 PM.  $8.00  for 6 yrs and older under 6 free.

IMPORTANT LAST MINUTE  HELP:    Sunday October 16th at 9:00 a.m.  til ???,  Cindy needs help working on the walk thru of the haunt.  Time is running out the Haunt is just around the corner.    If you need a work detail this is your chance.   Please bring battery drills, staple gun, staples/ Need to hang up plastic and get lights up and finish screwing pallets together for walk ways.  YES A LOT MORE WORK TO BE DONE, AND HELP IS NEEDED.  Still need old bed sheets, cob webs lots, spiders, if any one has any old mask they don’t want anymore.  You can text Cindy at 7176296391 if you are going to make the haunt work day on Sunday and if you have anything to donate for the haunt.  If you or anyone  you know would like to help scare at the haunt let Cindy know.  Make a family fun time have a campfire and make hot dogs or smores etc.  You can have a fun time setting up along the road coming into the camp as the wagon of victims come by you can scare them.

Starting January 2017 and running til March 2017 as a trial  run, to see how it does.  Gun tickets will run off of the evening daily number, first Wednesday  of each month.  There is only 250 tickets being sold. This means there is going to be 4 (3 digit numbers) on each ticket. Tickets are still $5.00 each.  Ticket selling members still must sell 6 tickets.   NON tickets  selling members may also help sell tickets if they choose.

PGC INFORMATION

If you are taken part in the PGC MENTORED YOUTH PROGRAM,  You need to read up on the rules that are in your PGC HUNTING AND TRAPPING DIGEST 2016-2017.

SEPTEMBER  drawing winner for Smith & Wesson SD40VE-40CAL. WAS Angie Dinger.

OCTOBER drawing winner for  Barnett Jackal Crossbow  WAS Cindy Garver.

50/50 Winner for OCTOBER was Joe Fogarty.

During the October meeting the Board members  raffled off 5 doe permits @ $5.00 a chance.  The winners of the 5 doe permits gave each MEMBER who’s names was drawn the opportunity to harvest a doe anywhere on the leased land and also a buck. (Winners must hold a current PA doe tag for 4c).

The members who won the drawing  was:

First Archery Buck Harvest goes to Joe Fogarty.  Congratulation  Joe.                                                  Joes’s Buck was harvested Monday October 3rd.   Inside was 20 1/2 ”    8 pts.
